Pulligan Golf — Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Pulligan Golf is designed to work with minimal data. Here is what the app uses:

• Player names and handicaps — entered by you at the start of each round. Stored locally on your device only.
• Round scores and results — stored locally on your device via AsyncStorage. Never uploaded to any server unless you use the Watch Live feature (see Section 3).
• Course data — any custom courses you create are stored locally on your device.

We do not collect your name, email address, location, device identifiers, or any other personal information.

2. Anonymous Authentication

When you use the Watch Live feature, the app signs in anonymously to Firebase (Google) to enable live score syncing. This creates a random anonymous user ID — it is not linked to any personal information and is not used to identify you.

3. Watch Live — Live Score Syncing

The Watch Live feature is optional. When enabled during a round, the following data is synced to Firebase Realtime Database (hosted by Google in Asia Southeast 1):

• Player first names (as entered by you)
• Gross scores, net scores, and match status per hole
• Format name and course name
• A randomly generated 6-character game code

This data is used solely to display the live score to spectators who enter the game code. It is not used for analytics, advertising, or any other purpose.

Live game data is automatically removed from Firebase when the round is marked complete.

4. Third-Party Services

Pulligan Golf uses Firebase (Google LLC) for the Watch Live feature. Firebase may collect technical data such as IP addresses and request timestamps as part of its standard operation. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for details.

No other third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries are included in this app.

5. Data Storage

All round history, player data, and course data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data is not backed up to any cloud service by Pulligan Golf. If you delete the app, this data is permanently removed.

6. Children's Privacy

Pulligan Golf does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no content directed at children and requires no personal information to operate.

7. Your Rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on request. If you have used the Watch Live feature and wish to have live game data removed, please contact us at sp@tef.life with the game code and we will remove it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
